    What size should I order?

    This is one of the most frequent questions and we love to help with it! We know that it might be tricky to shop online and understand the different international sizing systems and each brand specifics. That is why we are here for you to help!

    Take a look at our SIZE GUIDE  - we have listed the measurements that we use for sizing of our garments. You can also simply email us your own measurements of bust-waist-hips and height to contact@lemiche.com (or DM us on Instagram or Facebook) and we will get back to you in the shortest time possible with our sizing recommendation!

    What does "made-to-order" mean?

    "Made-to-order" means that we don´t produce garments in advance in all the sizes and keep them in stock available for immediate purchase, as most of traditional brands do. Instead, we cut, sew and press each garment in our studio here in Barcelona by a small team of very dedicated individuals only after the order is placed and according to the size ordered.

    This way of production has major benefits!

    • It allows us to significantly minimize the waste - we don´t cut into fabric without the actual need.
    • We avoid overproduction and the need to have large warehouses and complex logistics, thus reducing the unnecessary costs and keeping our prices true to the real value of each piece!
    • It also allows us incredible precision in quality that is so often overlooked in large productions simply because of the quantities and rush.
    • But most of all, it allows us to provide each and every customer with the desired garment because we have no risk of running out of any particular size - and this is simply wonderful!

    What is a lead time?

    Our lead time is the amount of time it takes us to make the garment you ordered and prepare it for shipment. We produce each garment in the sequence of the orders placed, so no orders are delayed! And of course, in cases that we are able to make the order faster than estimated - we never wait and always very happy to surprise our customers with faster deliveries! 

    What is your lead time for made-to-order items?

    Our current lead time is at 2-3 weeks which is how long it takes us to physically make all the garments that have been ordered each week. This is a multi-step process that often has to pass several cycles of pre-shrinking, cutting, sewing, pressing of all the pieces for each garment, and that also includes a thorough quality control at each step, final packaging and preparation for the shipment.

    In very rare exceptional circumstances our lead time might extend to 3-4 weeks, in which case we will notify you immediately and will make everything possible to deliver your order faster.

    Why do you have made-to-order items?

    We have tried various production workflows, gradually trying to improve the classical batch production that we found largely inefficient in terms of costs and flexibility. And, as an increasing number of other slow fashion brands, we came to the conclusion that we don´t want to compromise on quality and choices for our customers. We want to be able to offer each of our customer each of our designs in the size the customer needs and with greater variety of choices that classical production could allow us. 

    Because we don´t need to cut into fabrics before knowing what the customer wants, we don´t waste unnecessary any materials, time and hard work of our team. We also significantly reduce production waste, never disappoint our customers with out-of-stock sizes, and simply don´t have to guess the unpredictable demand and then overproduce. 

    Why are some pieces available and others not?

    We are currently slowly changing the classical workflow of inventory production to made-to-order model. Therefore, some of the items are still available in stock and others are only made-to-order. Sometimes we also make small batches for other retailers that carry our line and some additional inventory might also be produced for various technical reasons - these items will also then appear in stock while available.

    Are you able to update me on the status of my order?

    Absolutely! If you need any additional information or simply want to know the stage that your order is in - email us at contact@lemiche.com with your order number and we will gladly give you all the details as soon as possible!

    Can you do rush orders?

    Our highest priority is quality and satisfaction of our customers with their new garments. And it requires hard work and time. Therefore, unfortunately, we are unable to make rush orders simply because there is nothing that can be rushed.

    Is it possible to change or cancel an order once it is placed?

    We want you to be absolutely happy with your new Lemiché garment, so if you´d like to change size, color or something else - we are here to help with everything that is posible! Please email us to contact@lemiche.com as soon as possible with your request to avoid posible complications and delays for your order.

    For made-to-order items: if your request comes before we start the item´s production, almost any change is posible. In case we have started already the production, we can still make the changes, but the lead time will be reset to 3-4 weeks starting from the date of the change. 

    What is the availability of the products?

    All our garments are made on our studio here in Barcelona using only locally sourced materials (except traditional fabrics that we find and sourced in other countries) accordingly to the orders placed. Due to the limited availability of the rare traditional handmade textiles, that are the key of our designs, all our products come only in a very limited quantities and sometimes cannot be reproduced exactly. 

    What kind of payment methods are available?

    Currently we accept payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express , PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay.

    What are your shipping costs and how long does it take?

    We offer several options for shipping to make it the most convenient for you. Please go to our SHIPPING & RETURNS page, where you will find all the details.

    Am I responsible for paying customs fees when my order arrives?

    Customs and import fees are enforced by the receiving country and unfortunately we are unable to have any control over them. It is therefore the responsibility of the buyer to be informed and cover these costs if necessary.

    We know that these costs often can come as an unfortunate surprise and we highly recommend to research your country´s customs proceedings and fees before making the purchase.

    How can I exchange or return the garment?

    We will gladly exchange your garment or accept a return if you notify us within 14 days after you receive your order. Please go to our SHIPPING & RETURNS page, where you will find all the details about what items are eligible and how to make a return.

    Do you offer refunds?

    Yes! Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If everything is ok, your refund will automatically be issued via original method of payment within 5 business days.

    ACCOUNT

    Can an order be placed without creating an online account?

    Yes, you can place an order without creating an online account. However, we strongly recommend you to create an online account at Lemiché Online Store to be able to track your order and verify your orders history at any time.

    Can the delivery and billing addresses be different?

    Yes. Please indicate your preferred billing address and delivery address in the corresponding sections at your checkout.

    What if I cannot sign into my account?

    Please check that the Email address and your password are correct and not misspelled. In case you have forgotten your password, please click "Forgot your password?" and follow the instructions provided.
